text-transform: var(--awb-text-transform); background-color: var(--awb-bg-color);\">Eines der wichtigsten Ziele unserer Schutzgemeinschaft ist es deshalb, die noch vorhandenen Lebensr\u00e4ume miteinander zu verbinden und fortzuentwickeln.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Die Illerschleife ist ein in Teilen noch sichtbarer ehemaliger Seitenarm der Iller zwischen Gerlenhofen und Ludwigsfeld. Inmitten landwirtschaftlich genutzter Wiesen und \u00c4ckern sind hier noch stark vern\u00e4sste Senken, Schilf- und R\u00f6hrichtbereiche vorhanden.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-7\"><p>Durch die Anlage von Kleingew\u00e4ssern, Flachmulden und die Anpflanzung standortgerechter B\u00e4ume und Str\u00e4ucher wurde der Charakter der ehemaligen Flusslandschaft wieder verst\u00e4rkt und gleichzeitig eine fast durchg\u00e4ngige Biotopverbindung vom Kleinen Heining im Osten \u00fcber den Plessenteich und die Illerschleife bis kurz vor den Illerauwald geschaffen. Die Stadt Neu-Ulm hat dabei durch die Bereitstellung von Fl\u00e4chen eine wichtige Voraussetzung f\u00fcr die Biotopverbundplanung geschaffen.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div sind im Kernbereich gut sichtbar: Durch die Extensivierung der Feuchtwiesen hat sich ein Bestand des \u201eFleischfarbenen Knabenkrauts\u201c , einer einheimischen Orchideenart, gebildet. <\/p>\n<p>Neben einigen seltenen Vogel- und Libellenarten ist auch das Amhibienvorkommen deutlich gestiegen. Der im Landkreis Neu-Ulm inzwischen sehr seltene Laubfrosch besitzt in der Illerschleife einen Verbreitungsschwerpunkt und ist dort wieder regelm\u00e4\u00dfig
