Nach langj\u00e4hrigem Kiesabbau wurde das Gel\u00e4nde sp\u00e4ter auch f\u00fcr die Transportbeton-Herstellung genutzt und auch eine Asphalt-Aufbereitungsanlage war dort im Betrieb.<\/p>\n<p>Nach der Kiesausbeute sollte das gesamte Gel\u00e4nde gem\u00e4\u00df dem Genehmigungsbescheides aufgef\u00fcllt und wieder in landwirtschaftlich nutzbare Fl\u00e4chen umgewandelt werden. <span style=\"color: var(--awb-text-color); font-family: var(--awb-text-font-family); font-size: var(--awb-font-size); font-style: var(--awb-text-font-style); font-weight: var(--awb-text-font-weight); letter-spacing: var(--awb-letter-spacing); text-align: var(--awb-content-alignment); text-transform: var(--awb-text-transform); background-color: var(--awb-bg-color-hover);\">Im Lauf der Jahrzehnte bildeten sich allerdings wertvolle Feuchtbiotope in den Abbaubereichen, die seltenen Tieren neuen Lebensraum boten. hat die Schutzgemeinschaft Entbuschungsma\u00dfnahmen durchgef\u00fchrt. 2010 wurde das Gel\u00e4nde dem \u201eGesch\u00fctzten Landschaftsbestandteil Illerschleife\u201c angegliedert. 2012 konnte der Verein aufw\u00e4ndige Gestaltungsma\u00dfnahmen veranlassen, deren Kosten in H\u00f6he von 25.000\u00a0\u20ac durch die Regierung von Schwaben finanziert wurden.<\/p>\n<p>Ein 2012 errichteter Beobachtungsturm auf der Nordseite des Biotopes erfreut sich gr\u00f6\u00dfter Beliebtheit unter den Besuchern, denn von dieser Stelle lassen sich einzigartige Fotoaufnahmen von Fauna und Flora F\u00fcr bedrohte Tierarten wurden Nistpl\u00e4tze geschaffen und die j\u00e4hrliche Pflege dieser mageren Sonderstandorte angepasst.<\/p>\n<p>Die Verkehrssicherung entlang der Stra\u00dfen und Radwege wird von der Stadt Neu-Ulm gew\u00e4hrleistet, die 19 ha Biotopfl\u00e4chen werden jedoch durch unseren Verein gepflegt und bis auf die st\u00e4dtischen Ausgleichsfl\u00e4chen durch das Bayrische Landschaftspflege-Programm finanziell gef\u00f6rdert.<\/p>\n<p>Der Erhalt der kleinen Kreuzkr\u00f6tenpopulation und die seit Jahren erfolgreichen Bruten der stark bedrohten <b>Zwergdommel <\/b>mit bis zu 4 Brutpaaren z\u00e4hlen zu den besonderen Erfolgen der letzten Jahre.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-fullwidth fullwidth-box fusion-builder-row-16
